High Point Form Rules

QCAHC - Rules for  Year End High Point Awards

1. All horses must be owned and shown by a QCAHC member. Entry into high point award program is $5.00.  Member MUST sign upon or before their first sho.

2. A member shall work one-half day at a QCAHC sponsored show .

3. Showmanship, horsemanship, and equitation classes will count only in the exhibitor divisions. The exhibitor must be showing a nominated horse.

4. Approved shows will consist only of QCAHC sponsored shows.

5. Specialty classes are: Most Classic Head (Pure/Part Arabians only), Leadline, Driving, Costume, In Hand Trail, Versatile Horse, Trail

6. Points will accumulate as follows:

1^st = 5 pts. 2^nd = 4 pts. 3^rd = 3 pts. 4^th = 2 pts. 5^th =1 pts. Ch=10 pts. Res. Ch.=8 pts.

A. Pure/Partbred Arabian Halter

B. Pure/Partbred Arabian Performance (awards for both Western & English)

C. Pure/Parbred Arabian Specialty

D. All Other Breeds Halter

E. All Other Breeds Performance (awards for both Western & English)

F. All Other Breeds Specialty

G. Overall Junior Exhibitor  rider and Horse Combination (13 yrs. old and under)

H. Overall Junior Exhibitor rider and Horse Combination- (14-18 yrs.old)

I.  Overall Senior Exhibitor and Horse Combination (19 -39 yrs. old)

J. Overall Super Senior Exhibitor and Horse Combination (40 yrs.old and over)

K.  Overall Junior Exhibitor ( 13 yrs. old and under)

L.  Overall Junior Exhibitor (14-18 yrs. old)

M.  Overall Senior Exhibitor ( 19-39 yrs. old)

N.  Overall Super Senior Exhibitor (40 yrs.old and over)
